Steelhorn

Steelhorn is known by a number of different names in Keswick. It is called The City Without Walls, because the minotaurs boast they do not need them to defend Steelhorn. Strong arms and sharp weapons are enough.  It’s called the City Of Mazes by visitors bewildered by the street plan, difficult for one not comfortable in labyrinths to navigate.  Steelhorn is a coastal city, and harbor for the Minotaur Free Trade Ships, which some call pirates.  From the Fereng Market, where visitors live and trade with natives, runs the Sword Way, the city’s main street. It ends at Sword Hall, the headquarters of the minotaur Legions that are Steelhorn’s army. The city’s inhabitants are minotaurs, but they aren’t just fighters. There are farmers, and craftsman, and shamans. When the minotaurs go to war, there are brave patriots and small minded cowards in the same proportion you might find anywhere.

Manden

The settlers of the town of Manden came from Arthorp on a crusade to convert the Halflings that inhabited the plains in this area to the ways of Pelor.  That endeavor was less than successful, as the Halflings converted the humans to the ways of Yondalla.  Now the entire town lives in Halfling holes, takes several meal breaks during the “work” day, while enjoying the potent pipe weed strain found only in Manden.  The Manden strain of pipeweed is known to increase introspective thought, increase the appetite, and enduce the need for discussions over wild conspiracy theories.
